Pamela Kay is the resident voice/accent/dialogue coach for Voices of the Holocaust, working on all their productions, coaching the actors in whatever European accent the production requires! She thoroughly enjoys working with the students at The Drama School, Mumbai, helping them to develop and nurture their voices, building a strong relationship with it and themselves. Pam works nationally and internationally with professional actors, in various educational settings with student actors/musical theatre performers, theatre companies, with non-native English speakers, and with corporate and private clients. Pam has Trauma-Informed certification and has developed a more intuitive and spiritual way of working with the voice. Deepening her practice by using pranayama breathing techniques, as well as Yin and restorative yoga.
She holds an MA in Professional Voice Practice, and is a member of the British Voice Association and the Voice & Speech Trainers Association. As an actress, Pamela has worked in a variety of theatre and film productions, as well as written and performed a number of pieces based on female characters in Shakespeare’s plays. She has also worked extensively in the corporate sector, performing role plays for training, assessment, and mediation purposes. Pamela has also directed a variety of productions over the years
