Neerja is a National Award-winning costume designer, celebrated for her work on the acclaimed Marathi film Shwaas and notable projects like Hamidabai Ki Kothi and Chanakya, which earned multiple awards. Transitioning from costume design, she now creates metal wire art and runs my handmade jewellery brand, Nee. An educator since 2001, she teaches at premier institutions like Drama School Mumbai and writes on clothing history and short stories, contributing to works like Sarees: Tradition and Beyond.
