About the Facilitator:
Anitha completed a three-year Advanced Diploma in Creating Theatre and Performance and Pedagogical training in Lecoq-based practice from LISPA, London. She is currently a faculty of Integral Theatre on the FECAT program at SMART, Bangalore. From 2010-2013, she was an artist-in-residence at the Srishti School of Arts, Design and Technology. With creativity, self-exploration and expression as the core, her work spans across performance, therapy and pedagogy.
She co-founded the theatre group Guduguduppukkari in 2015 along with Sunandha Raghunathan. Her work as a director includes Bhima (META nomination 2017), Mundhirikotte (Writers’ Bloc showcase 2017), Beyond the Bubble (2105), Un-tell Re-tell, No-tell (2015), The Flowering Tree (2014) and Dhuddu Kaasu Dabbu Currency (2010). As an actor-creator, her recent work includes What’s the Matter?, Fish Tree Moon directed by Yo Sup Bae, Theatre Tuida, South Korea and Monkey and the Mobile directed by Rajiv Krishnan.
She is a two-time Charles Wallace India Trust scholarship awardee.
