Our Facilitators

Madhura Jugade

She is an actress, writer, and acting teacher based in Pune, India. She has an MFA in theatre acting from The Theatre School at DePaul (Chicago), and a BA in Psychology from Ferguson College (Pune). Madhura has worked as an understudy for projects at renowned Chicago-based companies like The House Theatre and Jackalope Theatre Company. Now, Madhura is back home teaching predominantly in voice, movement, and acting. She is also exploring her skills as a creative writer in collaboration with up-and-coming writers and filmmakers.

Jehan Manekshaw

Jehan is the founder of Drama School Mumbai & Director of Drama Schools Foundation Mumbai. He holds an MFA in Theatre Direction from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a BA in Theatre and International Relations from Wesleyan University, CT, USA. He actively collaborates with highly skilled theatre professionals including some of the most skilled theatre practitioners in the country. For his demonstration of conspicuous talent, Jehan was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar. In addition to his list of achievements, he is also a fellow of the seventh class of the Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

Taha Ratlamwala

He is a fitness professional with seven years of experience in the field. Currently associated with Elite Pro Fitness Team, a Mumbai-based fitness coaching company, he specializes in teaching kickboxing and animal flow movement. Additionally, he has expertise in full-body resistance workouts using only body weight. He is also passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals and loves to stay on the cutting edge of new fitness trends.

Gerish Khemani

He has been working as an actor, director, writer, and educator for 15 years. He holds an M.A. (Honors) in English Literature from the University of Mumbai and received the Charles Wallace scholarship to pursue the Devising Theatre and Performance module at LISPA, Berlin. He runs a theatre group called ‘The Blind and The Elephant.’ Ripples (2015), In Search of Dariya Sagar (2017), and Anandowari (2020) are the key productions he has helmed as the co-writer, director, and producer of the theatre group.
